Open Settings → AI assistant and copy "Your connection URL."
Add it to your assistant
Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Volume Reach, paste the URL, then Connect and Allow. ChatGPT (paid plan): Settings → Developer mode → add the URL → Allow. Cursor, Claude Code and other MCP-capable tools connect with an API key from Settings → API keys.

Reading is on by default. Tick "Also allow sending texts" or "Also allow editing contacts" when you connect if you want the assistant to act, not just read.

Which AI assistants work with Volume Reach?
Claude (web, desktop and phone) and ChatGPT on a paid ChatGPT plan, connected with one URL. Cursor, Claude Code and any other tool that supports MCP connectors work too, using an API key from Settings → API keys.
Can the assistant send texts on its own?
No. Reading your account is always allowed once you connect; sending texts and editing contacts are separate permissions you tick when you approve the connection, and every send, blast, follow-up enrollment or CRM push is prepared first and goes out only after you confirm in the chat.
What does the AI assistant connection cost?
Nothing extra — it's included with any paid plan. Texts the assistant sends bill at your normal per-text rates. It isn't available on the free trial.
Is my data safe?
You sign in to Volume Reach and click Allow, the same way you'd connect a calendar. Access expires on its own and you can disconnect any time from Settings → AI assistant.
Is this the public API?
No. The public API with scoped keys is for developers wiring systems together (see the docs). The AI assistant connection is for talking to your account in plain English from Claude or ChatGPT.
