Included vs Extra Numbers
Phone numbers are $2 per number per month. They aren't bundled into any feature — you buy exactly the numbers you need.
Overview
Every phone number on a feature-based plan costs $2.00 per month. Nothing is bundled and nothing is included — you add the numbers your campaigns need and remove them when you don't.
How It Works
Buying numbers
Add numbers under Settings > Phone Numbers. There's no cap: add as many as your campaigns require, whether that's one local number or fifty across several markets.
Legacy plans
Accounts on legacy Launch, Growth, and Scale plans have numbers included — 3, 5, and 10 respectively — at no additional cost, with extras at $2/month each. See Legacy plans.
How billing works for phone numbers
Extra phone numbers are charged to your Volume Reach wallet on a monthly basis. The charge is prorated: if you purchase a number partway through a billing month, you'll only be charged for the remaining days in that cycle. When you release a number, charges stop at the end of the current billing period.
Your wallet balance is used for all usage-based charges in Volume Reach, including extra phone numbers, calling minutes, and SMS credits. Make sure your wallet has sufficient balance to avoid any interruption to your numbers.
Tips & Best Practices
- If you're consistently near or over your included number limit, consider upgrading your plan. The next tier up includes more numbers and higher calling capacity overall.
- Release numbers you're not actively using. An extra number sitting idle at $2/month adds up over time without providing any benefit.
- Plan ahead before large campaigns. If you need 10 extra numbers for a campaign launch, purchase them a few days early so you have time to verify everything is working before your campaign starts.
- Check your wallet balance before purchasing extra numbers to confirm you have enough to cover the monthly recurring charge.
