Volume Reach/Docs

Platform Overview

A guided tour of the Volume Reach dashboard — where to find everything and what each section does.

Overview

When you first log in to Volume Reach, you land on the Dashboard. This is your command center: it gives you a real-time snapshot of your outreach activity, quick access to common actions, and navigation to every major feature. This guide walks through each area so you can find your footing quickly.

The Dashboard

KPI Cards

At the top of the dashboard, four summary cards give you an at-a-glance view of how your outreach is performing:

  • Outreach — The total number of contacts you've attempted to reach across all active campaigns.
  • Responses — How many of those contacts responded or connected (answered calls, replied to SMS).
  • Hot Leads — Contacts flagged as interested by your AI agents or marked manually by your team. These are your highest-priority follow-ups.
  • Active Campaigns — The number of campaigns currently running or paused with contacts remaining.

These numbers update in real time as campaigns run, so you always have a current view of your pipeline without refreshing the page.

Activity Feed

Below the KPI cards, the Activity Feed shows a live stream of recent events across all your campaigns — calls connected, voicemails left, SMS replies received, new hot leads flagged, and more. You can use this feed to spot trends as they happen, or quickly identify if something needs your attention (for example, a spike in unanswered calls).

Quick Actions

The dashboard includes a row of Quick Action buttons that let you jump into the most common tasks without navigating through menus:

  • New Campaign — Opens the campaign creation wizard.
  • Upload Contacts — Jumps directly to the CSV contact upload flow.
  • View Hot Leads — Filters your conversations view to show only contacts flagged as hot leads.
  • Check Wallet — Opens your wallet balance and top-up options.

Getting Started Checklist

If your account is new, a Getting Started checklist appears on the dashboard. It tracks your progress through the key onboarding steps: verifying your email, completing compliance setup, uploading your first contacts, creating a voice agent, and launching your first campaign. Each item checks off automatically as you complete it. The checklist disappears once all steps are done.

The left sidebar is your primary way to move between sections of the platform. Here's what each item does:

Campaigns

Your central hub for managing outreach campaigns. From here you can:

  • View all campaigns and their current status (active, paused, completed).
  • Create new campaigns using the step-by-step wizard.
  • Drill into a campaign to see per-contact results, transcripts, and performance metrics.
  • Remarket to contacts who didn't respond on the first attempt.

See Creating a Campaign for a full walkthrough.

Agents

Where you build and manage your AI voice agents and AI SMS agents. Each agent has its own personality, script, voice, and behavior settings. You can create multiple agents and assign different ones to different campaigns.

See Creating a Voice Agent for setup instructions.

Dialers

The multi-line dialer lets your human team place calls in parallel, dramatically increasing the number of contacts they can reach per hour. This section lets you configure dialer settings, monitor live sessions, and review results.

Available on Growth and Scale plans.

Conversations

A unified inbox for all two-way communication — inbound calls, SMS replies, and AI-escalated conversations. When a contact replies to a campaign message or calls back, it appears here. You can respond directly, flag leads, add notes, and schedule follow-ups.

Contacts

Manage your contact lists. Upload new contacts via CSV, view existing lists, check individual contact history, and remove contacts who have opted out.

Reporting

In-depth analytics across all campaigns and channels. Track connect rates, conversion rates, agent performance, SMS delivery stats, and spend over time. Use this section to evaluate which campaigns and agents are performing best.

Compliance

Manage your A2P 10DLC registration, caller ID verification, and business compliance documents. Completing compliance is required before sending SMS campaigns and is strongly recommended before placing calls.

See Compliance Setup for a step-by-step guide.

Settings

Account-level configuration including:

  • Profile — Your name, email, and password.
  • Billing — Plan selection, payment methods, wallet balance, and auto-reload settings.
  • Phone Numbers — The numbers included with your plan, plus options to purchase additional numbers.
  • Team — Invite and manage team members (available on Scale plan).
  • Integrations — Connect Volume Reach to your CRM or other tools.

Wallet Balance Indicator

Your current wallet balance is always visible in the top navigation bar. If your balance drops below $5, a warning indicator appears to remind you to reload before your campaigns pause.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Complete the Getting Started checklist before launching your first campaign. Skipping compliance setup can result in SMS messages being blocked by carriers.
  • Check the Activity Feed after launching a campaign. Real-time feedback helps you catch issues early, like a high rate of unanswered calls that might indicate a calling time problem.
  • Use the Hot Leads view daily. Contacts flagged as interested by your AI agents are most likely to convert — follow up while they're still warm.
  • Bookmark the Reporting section. Regular review of your metrics helps you identify which agents and campaign strategies are working, so you can double down on what's effective.
