Call Recordings
Every call is automatically recorded and available for playback directly in your account.
Overview
Volume Reach records all calls — both outbound and inbound — automatically. There is nothing to turn on. Recordings are stored securely and accessible from the Call Logs detail view whenever you need them. You can use recordings to verify what was said, coach your team, resolve disputes, or simply review how a conversation went.
How It Works
Accessing a recording
Open any call from the Call Logs page. In the detail view, you'll find an audio player. Press play to listen directly in your browser — no download required. You can also download the recording file if you need to save a local copy.
Retention by plan
How long recordings are stored depends on your plan:

Once a recording passes its retention period, it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If you need to keep a recording longer than your plan allows, download it before the retention window closes.
Inbound and outbound
Both outbound calls placed by your AI agent and inbound calls from contacts calling back are recorded. All recordings appear in the same Call Logs interface — use the Inbound filter to quickly find recordings of callbacks.
Tips & Best Practices
- If you anticipate needing a recording for legal or compliance purposes, download it promptly — retention periods are firm.
- Recordings are tied to your account and are not shared with anyone outside your organization.
- If you are on the Launch or Growth plan and need longer retention, upgrading to Scale extends your window to 90 days.
- Listening to a handful of recordings from each campaign is one of the fastest ways to tell whether your AI agent's script is working well or needs adjustments.
